This bass guitar is inspired by the Zemaitis bass Mike
Oldfield used on som of his folkstyle recordings from the seveties.
Georgeos Zemaitis is on of Englands most celebrated
guitarmakers, and an original Zemaitis bass guitar is now wery expencive.
This bass has a stringlenght of 34 inches, 24 frets, a
completely new dwvwloped unique bracingsystem inside under the soundboard -x
bracing, but with elements taken from classical guitar design (socalled
Romanillosbridges)
The soundboard is top quality German Spruce. The body has a
extra large Jumbo style design, extra deep sides. Bass instruments really
need big volume to sound the longer wavelength in the bass area.

This bass is a one of a kind instrument. It is the only bassguitar of
this kind. It sounds really nice, has a long good sustain, and is perhaps
the closest you can get to an big upright. Some compare it with enormous
Mexican basses, but this one is a much more sophisticated instrument, you
can reach much higher scales on the fretboard, and is much more fun to
experiment with soloistic playing up on the neck.
I have had professional bass players to test it, and they were wery
impressed by the soundquality.
